Coastal Organic Growers

 

Coastal Organic Growers (COG)  is an organization dedicated to working to improve the quality of life within our area, as well as pioneer the growing popularity of sustainable organic farming methods. 

 

We not only produce these specialty products but are constantly experimenting and researching to find ways to produce high quality row crops, improved biodynamic fertilizers, and other alternative methods that can reduce costs of farming.  Some of our farmers have produced the state's first organic onions, peanuts, corn, rye, and soybeans.  The results have been dramatic and have been observed and promoted by the new biodynamic and/or sustainable researchers at the University of Georgia.
